Memphis, Cameron’s hometown and a city that we both love and visit often, is best taken in slowly. It gave the world the blues, soul, and rock and roll, and on a warm night you can still hear all three drifting out of open doorways. It's a city of neighborhoods more than landmarks - downtown along the river, Midtown's Cooper-Young and Overton Park - each with its own record stores, bookshops, and barbecue worth arguing about. Come hungry, wander a little, and let a stranger tell you where to eat.
